Hi All
I don t have the correct credentials to log into my PA 820 and resorted to resetting the device . However upon restarting the firewall , I m not being presented with the option to enter maintenance mode ( Enter "maint" to boot to main partition ) . It prompting for the login credentials instead.
Any assistance would be appreciated . Please see attachment for reference
Thank You in advance

Good Day.
I have seen on the 820s, that the initial bootup screen goes very fast (within 3 secs).
I am not sure if you are missing it bootup, due to still trying to connect to the firewall via a USB console cable (or are you using DB9 to RJ45)?
This is the only practical way to get the FW to be reset.
What other questions can I answer for you?

Swapping the cable from the console ( using micro usb port ) to console ( using rj45 port ) seems to have made the difference . I have now managed to reset the device .
Thanks for your help
