How to use a PA-220R in a small office environment without DC power?

L1 Bithead

I recently purchased an additional PA-220 firewall for a new small office our company is connecting to other offices running PA-820 and PA-220 firewalls. I was surprised to find that the product I received is a PA-220R which requires DC power, and that the legacy PA-220 firewall I thought I was buying is End-Of-Sale. I requested an RMA from my reseller and a quote for a replacement current model, but I think I am stuck with the PA-220R. Is there any way to use it with normal household power. Perhaps there is a suitable power adapter?

Thank you.

Palo Alto Tech support identified the AC power adapter for the PA-220R:

Palo Alto - power adapter - 60 Watt, MFG Part: PAN-PWR-60W-AC, CDW Part: 5648172
I was able to 2 of these in 2 months from CDW and our PA-220R is working perfectly. This information is not easily available on any website, so I am providing this information and photos to help anyone else with this issue.

Just get a 2amp 12VDC adapter. It'll convert your typical household 120VAC(USA) to 12VDC. You probably have some adapters sitting around the house.

Thank you.
