We received a palo alto alert like this: The specified threat cannot be detected by any tool. Could you please explain if this is a false-positive response?

@bgrsmn,

Officially, PAN will tell you to open up a TAC case if you believe there's a false positive so that it can be investigated. In practice, if you've analyzed the triggering file and found it to not be malicious it's highly likely with any of the WGenric signatures that it's a false positive.
