Hi team,
Is it possible to change the way Palo Alto links a group on AD? From CN to SID??

Your question is a bit unclear, what do you mean by "links to group"?
Under Device > User Identification > Group Mapping > Selected profile > User and Group Attributes you can select different attribute to be used. By default FW will use group name
