Palo Alto Service Route config for Dynamic Update/Wildfire/IPS

L1 Bithead

Hi,

What service source interface I need to change for IPS /Dynamic/Wildfire Update ? We want to configure custom interface instead of Management interface.
Now I've configured custom source interface for "External Dynamic Lists" and "URL Updates" but the system still using management interface for IPS and Wildfire Update.

Do I need to change source interface for "Palo Alto Network Service" in order to work IPS/Dynamic Update using custom interface? Which service is use for Dynamic Update and Wildfire?

"Failed to perform task resulting in connection timeout with Wildfire Cloud wildfire.paloaltonetworks.com"

Thank you!

Hello @EvanRaci

I think you are right about change of Palo Alto Networks Services to use service route to get updates. This is explanation from help file:

Palo Alto Networks Services — Updates from Palo Alto Networks and the public WildFire server. This is also the service route for forwarding pre-10.0 telemetry data to Palo Alto Networks.

Kind Regards

Pavel
