could you please share more details? What error did you get?
From currently supported Panorama hardware appliances only M-500 can't be upgraded to 10.2.X as 10.1.X is highest supported version. For all other models, the upgrade path to 10.2 is possible. Also, you do not have to install base 10.2.0 image. It is enough to download and install 10.2.3 instead.
