Regarding the DLP function of Prisma Access Browser

L7 Applicator

This Question is Regarding the DLP function of Prisma Access Browser.

I think it is possible to apply data control when the rules created in Prisma Access Browser's Policy > Rules > [Access & Data Control rule] match Data Profiles or Data Patterns.

Am I correct in assuming that the above function operates independently on the Prisma Access Browser alone?

(Am I correct in assuming that the condition information is synchronized to the client side and processing is completed only on the client side, and that communication with the service side is not required?)

I assume that the above data detection function (Data Profiles and Data Patterns) exists as a function separate from the Enterprise DLP provided by Prisma Access, but is my assumption correct?

If this information is unknown or private, please let me know.

Yes prisma access browser dlp is seperate from the prisma access enterprice dlp that can still be local with endpoint dlp prisma agent Endpoint DLP that can also control the device's USB and other things that the browser can't but the browser is a good option for unmanaged non corporative users.

Please also keep in mind this is a tech forum as you need to contact palo alto sales/solutions if you want private information but you can also register for Prisma Access workshop and there some questions about licencing and the workshop tutor can give you some extra info even outside of the workshop BROWSE BRAVELY
