Hi All,.. We have installed User ID agent 4.1.5 showing ip to user mapping or traffic, now we are looking to place a user based policies but in AD users are directly belong to OU which we cant add in the include group option in group mapping.. is der any way to get user names in policies? Hi All, On device in policies not showing user names under the source user tab, but in user-id agent we are able to see ip to user mapping. PaloAlto device is connected to machine on which user-id agent has been installed. Is there any other configuration is required to get user names in policies ? Please help me. Regards, Guru

Hi Mikand, we already have licensed Websense web filter and again we don't want to buy new URL filtering license for PaloAlto. My question is that is it possible to integrate websense and PaloAlto OR is there any other way to get this done? Regards, Gururaj.

Hi Marco, Thank You,..That worked, Please I need Some more help, If i enable decryption for all traffic ( Any URL Category ) that will slow down's the box performance. Is there any other way to minimize this ? And also it gives two certificates, one for decrypt policy and another for captive portal which will irritate the users. Regards Guru

Hi All, Captive portal is working fine for http traffic( asking for authentication ), But for https traffic it is not asking for the authentication. For example if user types facebook.com, asking authentication if types https://facebook.com then it is allowing without asking for authentication. I have added both http and https services in captive portal policy. Installed PAN OS version is 4.1.7 (As per release notes it should support captive portal for https traffic too) Please help me to fix this issue. Regards Guru.

Hi All,. Is it possible to block transferring files with particular file extensions ( eg,..pdf,dwg,dll) through Google Talk? I tried to do this but not succeeded. But in the file blocking profile the application "gtalk-file-trasfer" is there. When i am transferring the file through Google talk, in the traffic monitor it's showing the app as google-talk-base.And also it's not showing the files transferred even i have used the file blocking profile with "alert all" action in the policy without blocking anything. Same thing is happening with gmail too,..Please help to fix this issue. If possible please share the configuration steps for the same. Thank You,......

Hi All,. We are trying to use fiber port in the PA 2050 box, which needs to be directly connect to switch. we used the fiber module ( Multi-mode ) which is same as used at the switch end, But the communication is not happening between the switch and PaloAlto device. Is there any specification for fiber module ( for multi mode )? or did we need to buy it from the PaloAlto? Thanks in advance.

Hi rmonvon,.. We have two different IP pools for two ISP's,....Are you sure that we can use PBF in HA Active/Active cluster,...Because for each firewall in PBF next hop will be defferent, But if we do commit after creatin PBF will over write the configuration of another firewall,.then the next hop will be same on both firewall's. Hi Ameya,.. Thank you for reply. In this document, we are using IP addresses for both floating IP's & Interface IP's for both ISP's from the same subnet. But in our scenario (Attached Topology) we have two different ISP's which have different IP's with different subnets. How to deal with this scenario?. Did we need to make some modification in our scenario (Including ISP Routers ) ? Thank you,. Gururaj
