Cortex XDR assigning machines to groups via API

We are trying to automate the installation of Cortex XDR, but we would like to programmatically add the machines to static groups so that we can assign separate policies. Is this even possible with the API?

AFAIK, there is no API call that supports this. If you need to do this only once, create a text file that contains all machine names and create a group using that file. If your use case requires that you do this more often, good luck...
