User ID API documentation for 4.1

L3 Networker

Where can if find the User ID API documentation for 4.1 ?

I find lots of examples, but most of them are for 3.1 or 4.0.

Is there a guide available that describes all available XML syntax ? ( similar to the firewall REST API guide.)

Nope,

This one is for the firewall API, not for the UserAgent API...

Hi Bart, Just finished updating that one for 4.1. Hot off the presses for you:

Tx Nick, usefull doc indeed.

But I'm still looking after the API doc for the 4.1 useragent.

Hi Bart,

There is no document specific to the API for User ID.The only change to the API functionality in 4.1 is the addition of the ability to add your own SSL certificate to the agent. If you want to see other examples of how to use the API I would recommend the gripping and well written document https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/docs/DOC-1936. It applies to both 4.0 and 4.1.

Nick

Hi Nick,

anyway to get access to this file?

https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/docs/DOC-1936

It says when I click on the link that the file has restricted access to it.

Thx,

-GG
