Joe Delio here from the LIVEcommunity team bringing you an announcement for some new Cloud Service offerings. I will be writing 3 blogs talking about some of these new services, the first one being about the Logging Service.
But Joe, I am already logging locally on my firewall and have a Panorama set up to keep all of my logs locally, why would I be interested in this?

I know that having to deal with logs on a daily or weekly basis, paying attention to special threats and protecting your network from cyber breaches is a pain in the. Just ask me, I was the single firewall admin to a large company for years. So, anything that Palo Alto Networks can do to help make your job easier would be welcomed.
I know that it would have been a godsend to not have to worry about storing logs all the time. That’s the great part -- with the Palo Alto Networks Logging Service, we introduce a simpler approach, managing valuable security logs while enabling innovative security applications in concert with Palo Alto Networks Application Framework.
