In Strata Cloud Manager > Log Viewer and Strata Logging Service > Explore, log queries now support time ranges of up to 30 days at a time.

You can now query using the following ranges:

  • Past 15 Minutes
  • Past 60 Minutes
  • Past 10 Hours
  • Past 24 Hours
  • Past 7 Days
  • Past 30 Days
  • Custom Range (up to 30 days)

Why 30 Days?

These limits are in place to maintain query responsiveness and system performance at scale.

How to Analyze Longer Periods (60/90 Days and Beyond)

Option 1: Use Custom Range in 30-Day Intervals + View/ Export

You can view/export more extended periods by breaking them into consecutive 30-day windows.

Example – Past 60 Days:

  1. Go to Custom Range
    • Start Date: 2025-07-19
    • End Date: 2025-08-18
    • View/Export the logs
  2. Rerun the same query with:
    • Start Date: 2025-06-19
    • End Date: 2025-07-19
    • View/Export the logs
  3. Combine the two CSVs outputs if needed

Option 2: Log Forwarding for Continuous Long-Range Views

Set up log forwarding from SLS to an external system for rolling visibility beyond 30 days:

  • Object Storage (AWS S3)
  • SIEMs
  • Syslog Servers
