Batch file creation in MAC to Fore Reconnect Cortex Agent

L1 Bithead

Hi Everyone,

I would like to force reconnect the workstation that is in old Cortex Tenant to the new Cortex Tenant we have.

Is is possible to create a batch file for this so it can help us to work easily? is the .bat format applicable in MAC OS?

Thank you in advance everyone!

Hoping to hear from you all your thoughts/insights.

Regards!

Hello,

Yes! Reconnect Command for MAC agents, is available. You will able to Migrate devices from old tenant to new tenant using bash script(MAC doesn't support .bat). If you have access to old tenant I would suggest following below steps to migrate the endpoint to new tenant.

1. Create a new MAC OS agent installation package in the new tenant and copy the agent id.

2. Go to old tenant-->Endpoints--> All Endpoints--> Filter out MAC devices.

3. Press Alt(Windows) or Command(Mac)--> Select MAC devices--> Right click on any Agent --> Endpoint Control --> Change Managing Server

4. Paste the Agent Installation ID which you have created in step 1 & Click Move.

You can monitor the progress in Action Center Under Incident & Response.

Hope this will suffice your need. Please mark the response as "Accept as Solution" if it answers your query.
