Please confirm us if XDR can be installed on below BrokerVM servers.

Thank you for writing to live community!

Broker VM images are hardened images and there is not much which we can modify or change in the image and in the operating systems. As a result we cannot install Cortex XDR agent on the broker VM images. The security of the broker VM is managed by the Palo Alto Networks, the same way as we do for any platforms we offer to our customers(like firewall, Prisma Access, SD-WAN etc.)

Additionally, there are no process instances the same way as you have on a normal linux operating system and hence you will not need XDR agent on them.
