Dear All,

I have added the self signed certificate (certificate generated in linux and verified by AD) in broker VM, I did not receive any error, but need to verify if the content cashing is working properly?

How can I verify if the content cashing is working or not?

To verify whether content caching is working properly on your Broker VM (BVM) after adding your self-signed certificate, you can check the Broker VM’s file system, internal logs, and the endpoint agent logs.

1. Verify Cached Files on the Broker VM

The most direct way to confirm that the Broker VM is successfully caching content is to log into the BVM via SSH and inspect the designated cache directories.

Check for cached Content Updates (CU)

ls /data/agent_cache/content

If caching is functioning correctly, you should see subdirectories for different platforms (for example, windows, linux, mac) containing cached content updates.

Check for cached Agent Installers

ls /data/agent_cache/installer

The presence of recent or latest agent builds in this directory confirms that the caching feature is operational.
