Hello @Tobias_Bartsch ,

The communication also goes out from the Customer Success teams so you can ask your customer success manager to add your email to the distribution lists for updates.

Additionally if you do not have customer success service, you can add your distribution lists/emails to the Email Contacts field in the Server Settings of Cortex XDR.The defined email addresses are used to send product maintenance, updates, and new version notifications.

P.S.: These email addresses are in addition to e-mails registered with your CSP account.

Hi @Tobias_Bartsch ,

Thank you for writing to live community!

On 07th September, 2022, you must have received an email from Cortex XDR Product team regarding the update for the 7.8.0.64267. The email was documented as such:

Dear customer,

Following our email sent a few days ago we would like to share the full list of the hotfix versions. This hotfix is addressing a specific use case with the current 7.8 and 7.7.3 versions, that may lead to a leak in storage usage by the Cortex XDR agent. This issue seems to occur on machines generating many executables but does not affect your security posture and is only related to performance.

Fixed versions

7.8

Windows - 7.8.0.64267

Mac - 7.8.0.2407

Linux - 7.8.0.74226

7.7.3

Windows - 7.7.3.9739

Mac - 7.7.3.2366

Linux - 7.7.3.74512

As a result, to prevent any performance issues for any of our customers, we released the new build and has also been listed in the Addressed Issues in Cortex XDR Agent release note.

Hope this answers your question!

Regards.
