Where to publish EDL

L3 Networker

Hi,

I was planning to use Cortex XDR as my EDL publisher but since it doesn't support networks, only single IP addresses, it is useless for me. I don't want to publish it on our IIS servers so I'm looking for good alternative. Can anybody suggest something?

Hello @Piotr_Kowalczyk ,

Thanks for reaching out on LiveCommunity!

An External Dynamic List is a text file that is hosted on an external web server so that the firewall can import objects—IP addresses, URLs, domains—included in the list and enforce policy.

Can you please share your use case, what do you mean by network?

Hi, thank you for your reply.

I want to block all IP addresses which belongs to single ISP so I need to add add ranges, like 2.12.12.0/24 what I can't do in Cortex XDR unfortunately.

Hello @Piotr_Kowalczyk ,

Why don't you use host firewall to block the subnet.

Regards.

It is 2500 subnets so EDL will be way better.
