Incident fetch reset timestamp

L1 Bithead

Hi

I have a doubt regarding incident fetch -if we reset the timestamp in any integration in xsoar and set the first fetch as 24 hours. Will it fetch only the new incidents or will it fetch incidents from past 24 hours

(note - this is for integration that was already working fine )

It will fetch incidents from the last 24 hours during the first fetch run but other selection logic still applies, which can produce unexpected results.

For example, consider a situation where the integration is with a ticketing system, and the integration logic fetches only *open* tickets. A given ticket which was fetched before the reset, then subsequently closed in the remote system will *not* be re-fetched after the reset since the ticket is no longer open in the remote system.
