Certificate issue while installing the Trap agent on Red Hat 6.

 

I mean, while communicating the of agents between Palo Alto Trap and Linux Red Hat 6 a error massage is

Error HTTP Request failed due to an ssl error ssl exception error certificate verify failed.Linux error.jpg

Do you know if the certificate has been trusted?  See step 3 here:  https://docs.paloaltonetworks.com/cortex/cortex-xdr/cortex-xdr-pro-admin/get-started-with-cortex-xdr...

 

You may have to pull down the cert and install it.  See example here:

I've got the same problem and solved it this way:

  1. I upgraded the packages by yum upgrade
  2. Downloaded the GoDaddy Class 2 CA Root Certificate from https://ssl-ccp.godaddy.com/repository/?origin=CALLISTO 
  3. Added it to the repository https://manuals.gfi.com/en/kerio/connect/content/server-configuration/ssl-certificates/adding-truste... 
  4. Restarted the Traps processes /opt/traps/bin/cytool runtime restart all
