Where can I find a list of supported vendors, I see mention of Cisco but cannot find a definitive list of who is support by the tool.

I'll move your question to the expedition forum. I found the following vendors but I'm not sure what the "and more" exactly means : Cisco, Fortinet, Check Point, Forcepoint, Juniper, IBM, XGS and more
Maybe you'll get a more clear answer from the expedition forum.

Currently supported vendors for migration:
Cisco ASA/PIX
Fortinet
Juniper - ScreenOS / SRX
Checkpoint R77 and R80
Forcepoint (formerly Sidewinder)
IBM XGS

Keep in mind that Expedition supports also CSV import.

only if I can find a way to generate a csv from within sophos - its a case of finding the right iptables command etc. There is no export in csv format in the web console.

Convert Sophos to Forti with FortiConverter and then Forti to Palo Alto with Expedition 😉
