Expedition Web stuck after Ubuntu upgrade to 18.04.1 LTS. Do anyone meet this issue?

Dont upgrade Ubuntu, only do updates !!! There is something in the upgrade that breaks Expedition. We have to research

Has this been resolved or is there a work around for this? I upgraded to 18.04.3 LTS and am experiencing the same issues with the GUI login post upgrade. This thread seems to have been open for almost a year now. Ubuntu 18.04 has been out for over a year and a half now.

Expedition is supported on 16.04.
It is not in our high priority tasks to provide support to newer versions of Ubuntu in the short run.
As mentioned above, do not upgrade, but only update Expedition packages.
