Cisco Anyconnect

Not applicable

Hi all,

I am trying to connect using Cisco Anyconnect VPN client on my iPAD to Palo Alto Global Protect VPN Gateway with different configurations without success. Do you have any suggestions whether they can inter-operate? If yes, what settings on both ends are required? By the way, I am using AD password and not certificate for user authentication.

Thanks in helping!!

I don't think the Cisco client is supported.

But you can use the built in vpn client for IOS if you don't want to purchase the Global Protect software.  These are the instructions for using the Apple vpn client.

Actually the VPN works for IPAD and Android. I will Cisco Anyconnect client because we are planning to deploy Cisco UC solution for call center agents and Cisco's preference client is Anyconnect. I will find out whether UC works without Anyconnect. In the worst case, we might need to buy ASA as VPN appliance.

Thanks your comments.
