Cortex Endpoint goes into disconnected state

What causes the Cortex Endpoint to frequently enter a disconnected state, and how does the Cortex AV function in a disconnected state compared to when it is connected

The Cloud service (XDR Console) validate the activity with the endpoint in the following times

  • Disconnected—The agent has not checked in within the defined inactivity window: between 10 minutes and 30 days for standard and mobile endpoints, and between 10 minutes and 90 minutes for VDI and temporary sessions.

XDR agent  has not been able to check in with the tenant. Check the network connectivity on your system.
