@MohammedAsik,

It seems the temperature threshold is hitting critical thresholds. You need to check room temperature where the device is kept. Also sometimes temperature may go high due to dust on the device.

Hi Mayur

Data center temperature seems to be cool since other devices into same rack is not getting affected. Only on pa firewall getting this alarm.

if i clean the dust.. is the issue get resolve ?

HI @MohammedAsik ,

Normally if there is dust on the firewall FANs and/or FAN trays, it may cause high temperature as it is for providing the ventilation & cooling for the firewall.

M

check if perhaps the firewall is mounted above another device that is giving off heat

I once had a firewall cook due to a server below it generating excessive heat and venting upwards

Hi

We have checked on firewall and there is no dust in the fans.Also firewall is not sitting on any other server.

So what would be the reason for high threshold temperature alarm ?

Regards

Mohammed
