Data Filtering Custom Report

L2 Linker

Hello!

In creating Data Filtering custom report, there is column named Repeat Count. What does that number mean? Is it number of how many times the file was downloaded? Or number of connections (or packets) in which that file was recognized?

Is it possible to create a report (in 4.1 software version) in which will be displayed size of a file or amount of bytes that were trasfered during download/upload of the file?

Best regards,

Maja

The repeat count is the number of times that the file (matching the data pattern) was downloaded.

To get the amount of bytes for the session you have to query the traffic log.  The data filtering log will have the sessionID number and you can use the sessionID to query the traffic log to get the bytes.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply.

If that it's true, turns out that one user downloaded one file many times. I know that it isn't true.

Investigating through Data and Traffic Log I found out that something isn't right. Please look at the pictures.

In 4.1 version there is no session ID in available columns when creating report from Data Filtering log.

I recommend you contact Support to investigate the high repeat count value that you're seeing.  The repeat count should be the number of times the file was downloaded.

Thanks.
