We are having an issue with our new Palo Alto 2050.
We are using the DHCP server on the 2050 in conjunction with a PXE to iSCSI system.
Using a different firewall/router with integrated DHCP server - the system works fine.
With the 2050 - it doesn't.
We took a packet sniff of the failed DHCP 'conversation' and it seems from our packet trace that the 2050 is not setting the subnet (it comes down as 0.0.0.0) which the vendors of the PXE server software think may be causing the issue.
There is also another 'option' for DHCP which does not get sent down which is Option3: Router.
We are on PANOS 3.02.
We need the ability to boot PXE clients from SAN, so it will become quite a problem for us if we can't get this working.
Cheers,
Jeff

Hello Jeff,
this issue may require some troubleshooting. Can you call into support to report and work on this issue.
You can also send an email into support. If you send an email into support please provide your company name, a phone number to reach you and the serial number of the device that you are seeing this problem. Also providing the trace/sniff where you identified the issue would be very helpful.
Thank you,
Stephen Whyte
