DNS resolving

L4 Transporter

I was wondering if there is a way to resolve domain names on a Palo Alto (except ping) and not using a DNS proxy object.

Kind regards,

Bob

Hello Bob,

Currently we can only use the 'ping' functionality through the CLI to resolve domain names. But, I see that there is a feature request (FR) submitted to our development team to support nslookup/host/dig commands through CLI.

FR ID: 2430

You can also request your account's SE to vote for it.

Thanks and regards,
