Dynamic virtual routers

L1 Bithead

Can interfaces be assigned to two different virtual routers so that for example if a particular static route stops working it will "dymanically failover" to the other virtual router which has another static route for the interface?

Sorry I'm pretty dumb when it comes to routing.

No, interface can not belong to 2 VRs. But you don't need mutliple VRs for simple route failover. Check policy-based forwarding (PBF) if it can help you with your scenario.
