Hi, I am new to Palo Alto and I started learning with watching Keith Barker's PA videos. In a video he configured security policies and demonstrated that he can't use Facebook chat with that configuration. I didn't want to do the exact same thing and in my lab a virtual PC can use Facebook chat. I did not understand why. Please explain with dummies version 🙂
"Security Policies PA" screenshot is my configuration, and I did not forget to click Commit.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
Check your logs to see if the traffic is hitting that policy. Also are you decrypting the data?

I dont have a license so I cant see those logs 😞
And yes, I am decrypting. Weird thing is, I can surf the web with WinXP thanks to VM PA. I was not able to surf the web with just using bridged network interface. I put that XP into the Inside zone and voila. But I dont know how and why 🙂
