Is there a way to effectively block FaceBook games?
I found this: https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/General-Topics/facebook-games-block/m-p/23675
but this is 2013 and not all games are Zynga's.

Well, you can block the URL category of games, and this should block them.
However, the best way (I think) is to decrypt your SSL/TLS traffic and then we (the FW) can see in clear text (what apps you are using) and then you can block SSL game websites.
Hope this helps/yields info you can use.
Thanks

It's a good idea! I was already thinking of implementing a decryption rule.
