Global Protect application blank screen

L1 Bithead

Hello Members,

Can anyone help me to solve the global protect blank screen issue on my PC, as for others it normally works fine.

I am using Windows 11 and I have already removed and re-installed the GP App but still it shows a blank screen and I am not getting the login page to enter credentials and login to the GP VPN.

Thanks in advance.

This is going to sound incredibly simple, but I clicked on the window to expand it. It then gave me the option to re-enter my email password to log in. I've been at this job 3.5 years, and it's the firs time this has happened.

Please check with 6.2.8 version. It contains the fix

Happy to help

The fix is on 6.1.6, 6.3.3, 6.3.4, 6.0.13, 6.2.7-h2 (This is a debug version

6.2.8 should have the fix in it and is currently released (this is not a preferred version yet)

The internal reference is GPC-22542. (This is not a public BUGID)

I'm on 6.3.1 and this issue still persists.  I've tried ending tasks for GP or PanGPS, restarted the app, etc.  9 times out of 10, the only thing that works is to reboot my PC, making the move from home to office anything but seamless.

Is there any attention to this issue at all or are paying enterprises stuck reading community forums for hack-job fixes and the good 'ol "just reboot your PC" solutions?

This issue lingering as much as it has isn't even remotely acceptable.

Hi @bryan.voskuil ,

As mentioned in a previous post, the fix was addressed in GP version 6.3.3 and 6.3.4

If you are indeed hitting this bug then I would recommend upgrading to any of the fixed versions.

If the problem persists then you might be hitting a different issue and gathering the GP logs for analysis would be the next step forward.

Kind regards,

Kim.

I have the exact same issue.  A reboot is the only way I have been able to solve.  It happens every other time or so.  Thanks - Todd

This happens to be everyday since they upgraded Global Protect at work.  The work around is just resize the screen and it will display your code.

I use to kill pangpa.exe and it would auto-restart and I would try again that it would work once, but then show me a blank screen again ever after that point, then by a happy accident in frustration I maximized the screen and there was my code.  You can either maximize the screen or drag the corner of the window to resize it a bit and it'll reveal your code.

Hope this helps!
