Global Protect - OS X 10.9 Mavericks

L1 Bithead

Has anyone had any issues with Global Protect and 10.9 Mavericks when trying to access SMB shared drives?

If you have, have you found a solution or work around?

Thank you

Hi eputnam,

Looks like there is an issue only in accessing shared drives. Is this behavior seen with other OS versions on Mac or other Windows devices ? Trying to find is it something specific to OS X Mavericks.

What would happen when accessing the shared drives ? Looking at the security rules or sessions on the firewall are there any denys ? Any permissions on accessing the shared drives. Does the Access route include the shared drive network.

From what I see there is no issue in establishing a Vpn connection so it is about accessing certain resources only.

Thanks

Thank you.

Yeah been going through everything with no luck as of yet.  Window machines are able to access the shared drives just fine. DNS and the rest of the setup is correct. Just OS X is being silly it seems.
