GlobalProtect 6.0.5 doesn't detect Symantec endpoint protection HIP data

GP version (6.0.5) doesn't  detect Symantec HIP data

on the client PanGPA.log:

<ProductInfo>
<Prod name="Symantec Endpoint Protection" version="" defver="" prodType="3" engver="" osType="1" vendor="Broadcom" dateday="" dateyear="" datemon="">
</Prod>

 

on the server HIP match:

Rolled back to previous version (5.2.12) then it detected the HIP data

on the client PanGPA.log:

is this a bug in GlobalProtect 6.0.5 ?

@LAS,

I don't use Symantec to validate this, but they made a couple fixes for Symantec products in 6.0.5 when it comes to polling protection status information. From your report it sounds like they managed to break definition detection. I'd report it to TAC so that they're aware it's broken, but it's likely a bug in the release.
