Hi, I am not a techy person but I have to install Globalprotect in order to work from home, the error I'm getting is: Connection failed: No network connectivity. Please verify your network connection and try again.
I'm not sure what the problem is. Please HELP.

I'm sorry, I don't get it. So I open a browser say, Google? And then what do I do next?

Have you installed the GP client yet?
03-19-2020 03:45 AM
Yes, I did. I am on the step where the address must be entered on GP in order to access my work logins. And that's where I'm getting the error I initially mentioned. All my teammates were able to connect but all I'm getting is connection failed.

ok so yes open a browser to perhaps google.
in the address bar at the top of the page , it will probably say https://www.google.com or similar...
change this to https://your-portal-addree
03-19-2020 03:53 AM
Well, initially we all had the portal with https:// from the beginning and it wasn't working for all of us. But when someone tried to just use the portal itself, w/o https, it worked for everyone except mine. I'm thinking if this has something to do with my laptop?

you do not need https:// when you put it into globalprotect. but you need to add it when you test with a browser.
on your start menu type "command"
click on command prompt,,,
and type
ping your portal address.
see what happens...

I tried it. I did enter on the command prompt the portal and it said it is not recognized as an internal or external command...
03-19-2020 04:35 AM
I re entered
ping portal address
And it said: ping request could not find host
03-19-2020 04:36 AM
ok now try ping www.google.com
03-19-2020 04:43 AM
It said, ping request could not find host www.google.com. Please check the name and try again.
