GUI not responding

L2 Linker

Hi All!

after logging in the GUI not works anymore, i tried to restart the web service via CLI using the command 'debug software restart process web-server', but nothing changed.

Can anyone give me some tips?

Thank you!

Regards,

Daniele

Hey,

What hardware and  PAN-OS release are you on? Did you try to restart a mgmt server:

Hi @TranceforLife,

is a PA-3020 with PAN-OS 8.0.1.

I tried to restart the mgmt server as you suggested right now and now the GUI started working.

Thank you!

Regards,

Daniele

The management server is for the actual GUI.

In my experience, sometimes mgmtsrvr as well as websrvr, both needs restarting; but it can be checked which one has stopped by using the commands:

show system software status | match websrvr
show system software status | match mgmtsrvr
