We are using dns name for user id and terminal server agents in firewall configurtaion like below
However intermittelnly we are seeing red light on firewall and while checking directly on terminal server agent software, the firewall connection is vanished.
We tried restaring services from server side. but no help.
We suspect if something changes from dhcp ( like dhcp lease expires ) the issue occurs.
All these servers gets IP from DHCP.
Does any one face issue for this. Cant we use hostname in user id terminal server fileld, Is it advaisable t use IP only

You could confirm the DNS theory by seeing what the resolution of the FQDN is on the firewall when disconnected and if that matches the current server address or not.
