How can I get the available VSYS in PaloAlto Firewall?

Hi everyone,


I'm develping an automatic software to get configure data from PaloAlto firewall. I need to know if a firewall is virtualized (I already know how to get this info) and, if the firewall has one/more than one vsys, I want to know these vsys's names. I just can get this info if I write: set system setting target-vsys ?, but I'm using Pexpect and if I send this sentence nothing happens because '?' character is just what I use to specify to the firewall "Tell me what can I type next", so firewall don't recognize '?' in a literal sentence.


Is there some command which returns vsys's names?

Hi @mikiTeleco,

I was able to find the vsys names with this command :

admin@Ying(active)> show config running | match display-name
          display-name "da first";
          display-name "second vsys";
          display-name "Use the forth";
          display-name Third;

Thank you Kiwi! You are always who solve my issues (but I still hating the kiwis lol). I will use it next time because now I get the vsys names with Pexpect by sending  "set system setting target-vsys ?".
