How is the traffic being identified by the firewall ?

Is the traffic being decrypted and is the FW even able to decrypt it ? (some application developers will pin the certificate making decryption impossible).

Also, you can check the traffic payload for something specific in order to create a custom signature (if it's at all possible to see something in the payload).
