How to make a passive miner

L0 Member

How would one create a miner that listenes for data instead of actively retrieve it ? (For example a miner that serves a rest endpoint so another application can send data to it)

@KristianGa : That has already been done and available since version 0.9.42. It has been described in the article Using MineMeld as an Incident Response Platform. Details of the REST API in the Annex 2 of the article.
