How to monitor CPU usage with SNMP?

I'd like to keep a trace of CPU usage of our PaloAlto P500 using SNMP?

What's the OID for CPU usage as it shows up in the dashboard?

Take a look at the HostDevices mib : http://www.oidview.com/mibs/0/HOST-RESOURCES-MIB.html

I have 4020 models, and I can view the processor load for three different processors - MP-system, DP-system, and DP-packet.

I new to setting up SNMP. How would I use this MIB? What exactly needs to be done?

Here's answer to the original question.

The "HOST-RESOURCES-MIB-V1SMI.mib" provides descriptions under the "hrDeviceDescr" display string (.1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.2.1.3.1, .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.2.1.3.2, and .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.2.1.3.3).

CPU 0 = MP-System Processors = Processor load over the last 60 seconds.
CPU 1 = DP-System Processors = Data Plane CPU cores not used for packet processing.
CPU 2 = DP-Packet Processors = Data Plane CPU cores used for packet processing
