How to open exported logs?

L3 Networker

Hi,

I exported PA logs (all database) with cli command "scp export logdb to user@10.1.1.1:/logdb". Question: can anyone show me a software, which can open exported PA logs? Thanks.

Hello Interface

Below threat would address your concern.

Can an Exported Logdb be Viewed Outside a Palo Alto Networks Device?

L4 Transporter

I'm using scheduled log export by scp.

Every log file I can open even in notepad, please read How to Export Logs

Scheduled exports You can configure in Device>Scheduled log export. In PAN 5.x You can use scp insted of FTP.

SLawek

Hello,

Thank you for your answers. I'm using scheduled log export. And I can see those logs in Microsoft Excel.
