If User got Text pad block popup while opening , what should we ask to share?

I got a mail from user that one application (Textpad) is blocking by XDR .  

 

what should we ask the user to share?? For any application??

  1. he specific error message or any error codes displayed when trying to access Textpad.
  2. The operating system and version they are using.
  3. Details about the XDR software that is blocking Textpad (e.g., name, version).
  4. Any recent changes or updates made to the system or Textpad.
  5. Steps to reproduce the issue and any additional observations or symptoms.
  6. Any relevant logs or error reports related to the blocking of Textpad.

@ManasaChalla,

Do you have access to or manage XDR? Assuming that you do, you should have an event under Alerts that will give you detail on why it was prevented from running. If you don't manage XDR assign the ticket to the individual(s) that do so they can explain the reasoning behind the prevention/block.

Thank you for this thread! I recommend you check textpad for mac blog post from the SetApp website. They have a bunch of alternatives to Notepad++ and many useful info about anything related to Mac.
