HI All,

 

I've planned to create an application override rule, but following the articles configuration of application override, it behaves will bypass Content and Threat Inspection. is it secure?

Hi @Asep_Khoerisman ,

 

It's not secure and not best practice to implement an app-override.

As you mentioned, you will bypass L7 inspection with app-override which is less secure.

However in some cases you might want to implement it to troubleshoot or workaround a certain issue.

 

In case you need to configure an app-override it's best to narrow it down as much as possible.
