Hello,
I am testing VM-FW(VM-series)
I have ESXi running sphere 5.1 environment.
Is VM-FW installed on sphere 5.1 available?
Thanks.

As per my knowledge the 5.1 is not a tested version for VM firewalls at this time, however at the same time as far i know VMWare guarantees backwards compatibility so there should be no reason for it to not work on 5.1. As Vince tested also it comes up and runs fine. So i think you should be good to use it. Hope this helps.
Thanks

Hi Cheon,
According to docs (https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/content/dam/paloaltonetworks-com/en_US/assets/pdf/datasheets/vm-ser...), it seem it's not supported yet but no reason for doesn't working.
Maybe docs are not up to date.
Got one and it works.
Hope help
V.

Hello Cheon,
ESXi 5.1 is used for panorama 5.1 version only since devices not yet support OS 5.1.x.
