it is the version of the protocol used by the UIDagent to communicate with the firewall, the software version can be different

Hi

The firewall does not collect the minor version details of the UIDagent, the client only needs to use the supported major version for the PAN-OS installed on the firewall.

To check the installed client's minor version , you will need to check on the server itself

So the Version 5 in command "show userid statistics" means the prococol version and the major version of UserID in servers??

Hello,

You can use this CLI command to get the version of UserID agent :

> show user user-id-agent config name agent_name

OS: Microsoft Standard Edition (build 9200), 64-bit
Product Version: 7.0.4-5
Protocol Version: 5
