Log viewer not working for 8.1.13 PAN-OS

L2 Linker

Cx facing this issue with PAN-OS 8.1.13 .

From the policies tab when we are selecting log viewer option for any security policies rule then it redirected to the Monitor tab . Logs traffic tab there it is showing all firewall traffic and filter bar tab we could not able to see any filter.

But another PAN-OS version we already checked we have found that when we are selecting any security policies rule with log viewer then logs traffic filtering search bar we are getting logs according to security policies which I selected.

Please see the image for a better understanding.

@bit_byte Looks like a bug...

Same problem with PAN-OS 9.0.6, on both firewall and Panorama.

Same here with 9.0.6, TAC told me is known issue and will be fixed in 9.0.9

I dream of the day that a version of Pan-os actually works for all features.  I think I'll frame it and take the rest of the week off.

Did they give you an Issue-ID for this bug?

PAN-131792

Thank you for the info.

I have this very annoying issue in 9.0.7.

Why is this issue not listend in the known issue list?

L1 Bithead

This issue is already reported internally via bug PAN-131792.

For 8.1, the fix will be available in 8.1.15.

For 9.0, the fix is targeted in 9.0.9.

Does anyone know if version 9.x fixes this bug?
Can someone who has it installed tell me if the log viewer works from the rule as expected?

Thanks
