Meraki to PAN Conversion?

L1 Bithead

Does anyone have any thoughts on doing an export/conversion from Meraki to PAN? There doesn't seem to be a direct conversion process so any help would be appreciated, I'd rather not completely build out the PAN if I don't have to.

If you see a specific use case you could ask in the expedition forum about adding support for meraki in expedition

Hello,

If there are not too many rules/policies. I would recommend starting with a clean build of a PAN and then writing the policies one at a time. This will give you a better understanding of whats allowed in/out via the firewall but also helps clean out older policies that are no longer need.

I have a base 9.0 build xml that I put together with some notes on getting it up and running, etc. it make a few assumptions but its easy to edit with search/replace if you are very familiar with the PAN architecture.

Regards,

Thanks to both. And yes, the xml file would be nice. I do have experience with PAN FW's it's just so time consuming when you are doing it "unpaid" lol... so if there was a conversion or any fastpath I'm all for it!

I didn't think about adding that into the expedition requests but that's a good idea!
