Hi.
I have a PA-500 and after a storm, the management interface stopped work. When I connect a network cable the leds doesn't work.
I made a configuration to access the Firewall and to use some services throught another interface, but the "Log Scheduled Export" doesn't have this option.
How can I solv this problem?

Hi,
When you say storm what do you mean?
Is the settings on the Management interface correct like speed and duplex to which it connects on switch port?
When you run the command --
show interface management
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name: Management Interface
Link status:
Runtime link speed/duplex/state: 1000/full/up
Configured link speed/duplex/state: auto/auto/auto
what does you see?

Hi.
I mean there was a heavy rain and some boltz. After that, the management interface stopped working. I changed the port, changed the switch, but the leds of the mgmt port doesn't work.
I have access to the firewall through the gateway port.

In your output i see speed as 100
What are settings on the switch port?
is this fast ethernet port?

It is a Cisco 2960X

I catch this from the log of the switch:

Try to hard code speed on PA and switch to 1000.
PA
1# set deviceconfig system speed-duplex 1Gbps-full-duplex ip-address x.x.x.x netmask x.x.x.x
Also please double check the Ethernet cable.

I changed the speed and the cable, but the problem still the same.

If you connect your laptop to Management port does it shows up then?

Doesn't shows up 😞

Then it seems some hardware issue with port.
Did you try to reboot the device ?
01-20-2020 11:35 AM
Yes, I tried.
Can I use another interface to use the resource "Scheduled Log Export"?
01-20-2020 12:25 PM
Under device setup
services
service route config
Then click on customize there you can choose feature which you want like email then choose the data port
01-20-2020 12:33 PM
I've already did this, I changed all features to source int 1/1.1 and gateway address, but the "Scheduled Log Export" doesn't work.

which feature you have selected ?
