Monitor throughput of dataplane using snmp

Not applicable

Hi all

is there a way to monitor the throughput of the dataplane?  I would like to turn on threat protection on my Palo's but I need to be able to log the throughput so I can see the effect it has.  I am monitoring the Dataplane CPU but would like to also monitor the traffic.

Any help possible would be grand.

Thanks

Joe Thurwood

Hi

We use OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2.2 in PRTG and it looks accurate (on our 5050's). There's a document somewhere in the Documents section where Palo describe what can be monitored using SNMP but if memory serves me correctly not all of them worked..

Hope it works!

Mike
