I am a Newbie and have just done the following -

1) Imported PA-VM-ESX-8.0.0.ova File into VMWare Workstation

2) Started VM

3) Logged into VM

4) Set IP of Firewall with these commands

configure

set deviceconfig system ip-address 192.168.1.1 netmask 255.255.255.0 default-gateway 192.168.1.1 dns-setting servers primary 8.8.8.8

commit

5) I have set my Host Machine's IP to 192.168.1.2

6) I have gone into VMWare Workstation and Edited the VMWare Network for VMNet8 and under NAT Settings added the Port Forwarding of Ports 443 and 80 and 8080 to TCP and point to the IP - 192.168.1.1

7) I open my Firefox on my Host Machine and point to - https://192.168.1.1 or https://192.168.1.1:80 or https://192.168.1.1:8080 or https://192.168.1.1:443

😎 I am still unable to Access Web GUI

May I please kindly ask - What have I configured wrongly ?

What is the default port for the Firewall's Web GUI ?

How can I get into the Firewall's Web GUI ?

Hope to hear from everyone soon.

Thank you very much for all your time and kind help.

Kind Regards as Always.

Hi Mate,

Looks like the gateway and mgt ip are the same 🙂

whatever the correct gateway is use that and use something different for the mgt ip.

cheers
